Today I’d like to review Cycle Parts Joint Exhibitions which was held last week in Asakusa, Tokyo.

Cycle Parts Joint Exhibitions have been held every year in Asakusa Tokyo since 2016.

180-200 bicycle parts wholesellers and manufacturers join the show as exhibitors and more than 2,000 people who were bicycle dealers or shop owners attended there to see what’s coming for the year and exchange their ideas and thoughts with each other.

Since this show is open to only dealers and shops not consumers, productive business conversation was happening everywhere.

Look at the beautiful color which is limited for 2024, EQUAL brake.

I found it super interesting in terms of the function and mechanism when we actually experienced it at the show and can’t wait for its launch!

It‘ｓ named “雷鳴” means thunder roaring.

The sound pressure of it is above 85 dB which enables people inside their car to hear the sound!

It was definitely loud enough and might have a big potential in a situation where cyclists are getting more safety-conscious.

Theose 3 colors are new for the year. (ivory, French blue, deep green)

The feature of these colors is un-vivid color and matte texture.

We visited HONJO who manufactures mud guard for many kinds of vehicles.

Their office is in Asakusa and they have 100% share of the mud guard of rickshaws “人力車” in Asakusa. You’ll get amazed by their craftmanship.

We Kozaki attended our potential customer who wanted to produce a new product with collaborating Japanese quality manufacturers and they absolutely got satisfied with what they gained during the show.

What impressed me the most was the great craftmanship showed by Japanese quality manufacturers. When visited each of their booth, every manufacturer listened to us intently and had a productive conversation to make our ideas and concepts happen. Besides it, this show is absolutely worth visiting to talk to the manufacturers and look at Japanese attractive brands which may strike your interest!
